Thu Dec 19 23:32:56 2002
────────────────────────

Day 59 - 12/26 Boxing Day=Shopping Day

Perth

Goodbye, dear corpse of Miss Spider.
I have to keep the evidence of your existence before I help you out of this backpacker where so many Asians live (and I am just among them).

Hello, dear corpse of Miss Spider.
A few days have gone by, and your corpse was still there. It looks like you have blended with the carpet without arousing anyone’s attention, except for mine. At lease, your present existence is less conspicuous than the former one. Such situation prevents your corpse from being vacuumed. Is that any good?
As the saying goes, “Dust to dust, dirt to dirt.” Should I do you a favor back to Nature? All creatures are doomed to die under the Rule of Great Nature. Even we human beings who boast ourselves as the supreme of all creatures can not avoid DEATH. Am I right?

Good Afternoon, Miss Spider.
Smelling the chemical spray, I should have been alert that you might be found by someone else and be murdered by that seemingly good-smelling poison. How careless I was then!
“It should be the bed bugs that they tried to kill. No way… there are bed bugs again?” I thought. However, the smell wasn’t from any of the rooms, but around the exit to kitchen. I didn’t find you nearby and thought you might just go for a hunt.

Good morning, Miss Spider. How was your sleep last night?
You must have felt cold last night because I saw you move to the ceiling corner. Yes, it’s getting colder recently. The winter is coming to Perth eventually. Or, you just went there for some privacy reason since there’s “somebody” keeping peeping at you. That must be really annoying, right? I didn’t mean to offend.
This morning I noticed that you had changed to another place, near the exit which we use as a shortcut from 1st floor to kitchen. With the fluid fresh air, you stretched out your furry legs. Quite comfortable, wasn’t it? I would like to enjoy such air as soft as the sunned quilt, too.
